Our signet rings can be ‘deep seal engraved’ by hand which is a very specific style of engraving whereby the image and lettering is carved very deeply and in reverse. This traditional technique means that when the ring is pressed into softened wax to form the seal the resulting impression reveals the correct image.

Our cufflinks and pendants can be engraved in what is called a ‘deep for show’ style, this means that the crest or initials are engraved as seen (as opposed to deep seal engraving which is in reverse and used for signet rings).
